🌿 Part Two: Protect My Peace With Family
Family can be a blessing—and it can also be complicated. The holidays often magnify old wounds, unmet expectations, and difficult dynamics.
Protecting your peace with family doesn’t mean you don’t love them. It means you are choosing wisdom over guilt and boundaries over burnout. Jesus Himself stepped away to rest and pray when He needed to—permission we are allowed to follow.
You are not required to attend every gathering, explain every boundary, or tolerate what disrupts your spirit. Peace is not selfish. Peace is stewardship.
“Blessed are the peacemakers” (Matthew 5:9)—including the peace within your own heart.
Prayer:
God, give me discernment in my relationships. Help me set boundaries with love, speak truth with grace, and walk away when needed without guilt. Guard my heart and guide my steps. Amen.
