My name is Courtney Wilson, and I created Protect My Peace (P.M.P) out of the challenges, pressures, and growing pains I experienced navigating the world as a young Black woman—through relationships, career transitions, family dynamics, friendships, identity, self-esteem, and everything in between. For a long time, I carried those experiences alone, believing I had to push through without a safe space to breathe, reflect, or heal.
I am not a therapist or an expert—just a Black woman who has lived through a lot while navigating societal pressures and expectations. I am now on an intentional healing journey, learning how to reclaim my peace, honor my boundaries, and nurture the version of myself I’m becoming. Along the way, I’ve gathered tools, resources, and practices that have helped me feel grounded, whole, and supported.
P.M.P was created to share those tools with anyone who may need them, to build community, and to remind people that they are not alone in their struggles or their growth. This is a space for reflection, honesty, and restoration—a space where we learn to protect our peace together.
